Follow these tips to keep your leather looking beautiful.
How to Remove Light Scratches from Pets
You can fix light dog scratches on your leather couch by either gently rubbing over the scratch with a damp soft cloth, or applying a few drops of a leather conditioner. HomeBuy's leather conditioning formula can help remove small scratches and protect finished leather surfaces from future damage.
How to Protect Against Stains
- Immediately dab (don't rub) a spill or stain. Use an absorbent cloth, sponge, or moist cloth with lukewarm warm. If water is used to clean the spill, be mindful that water can cause even more damage. So make sure to wipe away all of the excess water.
- Use cleaning conditioners and/or wipes every few months.
- Avoid using leather cleaners with harmful chemicals.
- Stay clear of traditional household products, such as detergents, window cleaners, bleach, nail polish remover, glue, paint, and other corrosive materials. These may be harmful and are not guaranteed safe for use on leather.
- Do not steam.
- Contact a leather specialist to avoid further damage for a stubborn stain.
